Dr. Alex Head

Originally a southerner, Alex qualified from Peninsula Dental School Plymouth in 2011. He followed his wife back to her home county of North Yorkshire to complete his Foundation Trainee year, and has worked here ever since.

He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially endodontics (root canal therapy). Interested in education, he has been a foundation trainer of newly qualified dentists for 4 years.
He feels prevention is the most important part of what he does, educating patients in oral hygiene to help prevent problems.

Outside of dentistry he enjoys music, cooking and playing Lego with his children.

Since graduating in 2010, Prem has has gained a wealth of experience from both general practice and post graduate training.

Not only does he place approximately 300 implants per year, but also undertakes complex restorative cases for those who are unhappy with their smile. He takes referrals from across Yorkshire.

Having completed her training at the University of Manchester, Alicia graduated in 2016 with honors and received awards in restorative dentistry. Following graduation, Alicia worked in the Leeds General Infirmary in the Maxillofacial Department in addition to having years of experience in private dentistry.

Alicia has a passion for dentistry and is continuously updating her knowledge by attending courses and lectures to provide the most up to date treatments and techniques for her patients. At the moment she is working towards her postgraduate qualification in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

She enjoys helping patients improve their smiles, particularly those who are struggling with the appearance or function of their teeth, and as an Invisalign provider likes to see the confidence patients get in straightening their teeth.

Rosie Gartland​

Hygiene Therapist

Rosie has worked in dentistry for 10 years. Previously working as a Dental Nurse and Practice Manager, Rosie went on to complete her diploma in Dental Hygiene Therapy. She is passionate about supporting patients to improve their oral health and overall wellbeing.

As a long-standing member of the team Shirley has been committed to serving our patients with their oral hygiene and gum health. She is passionate about oral health education for all.

Danielle joined the practice in 2017 to complete her nursing diploma, since then she has progressed through the team to become Lead Nurse, supporting our clinical team in practice, whilst also completing compliance and administrative duties.

Millie joined the practice in 2023 to complete her nursing diploma – she has a keen interest in surgical treatment such as implants.

After working as Practice Manager in private dental practices across North Yorkshire, Georgina joined our team in 2024. Her role at Chatsworth House Dental Care is to lead our practice team into a bigger and brighter future with a focus on improving services for patients as well as looking after the operational needs of the business.

Lindsay has worked in dentistry for 16 Years. She joined the business back in 2018 and is the friendly face that greets our patients and makes them feel at ease in practice.
